How To Make Copycat Red Lobster's Cheddar Bay Biscuits

A crusted biscuit that's soft and dense in the inside. The dough is mixed with cheddar cheese and buttermilk while the top is brushed with a garlic butter seafood mix.

  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • ¾ cup buttermilk
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • tsp bay seafood seasoning


  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

  2. Mix biscuit mix, milk and cheese together in a large bowl until a soft dough forms.

  3. Drop by spoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown.

  5. Mix butter, garlic, and seafood seasoning together in a medium-sized bowl.

  6. Brush over warm biscuits before removing from baking sheet.
