Ingredients
- 2lbvine ripened tomatoes,(about 6)
- ¾lbfresh mozzarella,salted
- 1¼cupfresh basil,chopped
- ½cupblack olives,halved and pitted
- 4tspbalsamic vinegar
- 1¼tspsalt
- ½tspfresh ground black pepper
- 1lbspaghetti
- ½cupolive oil
- 3garlic cloves
Instructions

In a large glass or stainless-steel bowl, combine the chopped tomatoes with the mozzarella, basil, olives, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.

In a large pot of boiling, salted water, cook the spaghetti for about 12 minutes until just done. Drain, add to the tomato mixture, and toss.

Heat the oil in a small frying pan over moderately low heat. Add the garlic and cook, stirring, for 1 minute.

Pour the oil over the pasta and toss again.
