How To Make Lemon Garlic Orzo Recipe

This dish is a light and flavorful pasta dish with hints of lemon and garlic.

  • 8 oz orzo pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese


  1. Cook orzo pasta according to package instructions, drain and set aside.

  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes and sauté for 1-2 minutes.

  3. Add orzo pasta to the pan and stir to coat in the garlic and olive oil.

  4. Add lemon juice and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley, lemon zest, and grated Parmesan cheese.

  6. Serve hot.
