Creamy and cheesy Alfredo sauce over perfectly cooked Rotini pasta.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz Rotini pasta
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.

  3. Pour in heavy cream and stir until well combined. Continue to stir for 2-3 minutes until the cream starts to simmer.

  4. Add grated Parmesan cheese and keep stirring over low heat until the cheese has melted and the sauce has thickened.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss until all the pasta is coated with the sauce.

  7. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley if desired.
