How To Make Three Cheese Chicken Broccoli Alfredo
Have your fill of this savory and amazingly Creamy Chicken Broccoli Alfredo pasta made extra cheesy with 3 types of cheese! It’s easy and quick to make!
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1lbpenne pasta noodles,or pasta of choice
- 2cupschicken,cooked, diced
- 2cupsbroccoli,steamed
For Three Cheese Alfredo Sauce:
- ½cupbutter
- 2cupsheavy whipping cream
- 4ozcream cheese
- ½tspgarlic,minced
- 1tspgarlic powder
- 1tspItalian seasoning
- ¼tspsalt
- ¼tsppepper
- 1cupparmesan cheese,grated
- 1cupmozzarella cheese
- parmesan cheese,shredded, optional, to garnish
Instructions

Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain.

While the pasta is cooking, make the three cheese alfredo sauce.

In a large skillet add the butter, heavy whipping cream, and cream cheese.

Cook over medium heat and whisk until melted.

Add the grated parmesan cheese.

Add the minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.

Continue to whisk until smooth.

Add the grated parmesan cheese.

Bring to a simmer and continue to cook for about 3 to 5 minutes, or until it starts to thicken.

Add the mozzarella cheese and stir until melted.

Add the pasta to the skillet and toss to coat.

Add the cooked chicken and broccoli.

Toss to coat and serve immediately.

Garnish with shredded parmesan cheese, if desired.
Recipe Notes
- If short on time, buy frozen broccoli and steam it in the microwave, as well as pre-cooked chicken from the store. This delicious meal comes together in 15 minutes.
- If desired, half the recipe and freeze the other half in a casserole dish and top with extra cheese and bake it for another night.
