How To Make Roasted Cherry Tomato Pasta

Sweet, sour, and smoky flavors can be experienced in this roasted cherry tomato pasta made with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and herbs for a simple bite.

Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking: 20 minutes
Total: 30 minutes



  • 6cupscherry tomatoes,halved
  • 4clovesgarlic,minced
  • 3tbspolive oil
  • 2tbspbalsamic vinegar
  • ½tspdried basil
  • ½tsporegano
  • salt and freshly ground pepper,to taste
  • 1lbpasta,refrigerated or use boxed if preferred

For Garnish:

  • ¼cupbasil,sliced fresh
  • cupparmesan cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

  2. Gently toss all ingredients, except for pasta.

  3. Place on a foil-lined pan and roast for 15 minutes or until softened. Broil for 1 to 2 minutes to add a little bit of color once softened.

  4. Meanwhile, in a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta until tender but firm. Drain, do not rinse and place in a large bowl.

  5. Add tomatoes and any pan juices to the pasta and toss to combine.

  6. Serve and garnish with fresh herbs and parmesan cheese. Enjoy.
