How To Make RAGÚ® No Boiling Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jar RAGÚ® sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 8 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.

  3. Stir in the RAGÚ® sauce and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

  4. Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce mixture on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.

  5. Place 4 lasagna noodles over the sauce, overlapping slightly.

  6. Spread half of the remaining meat sauce over the noodles, then sprinkle with half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.

  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining noodles, meat sauce, and cheeses.

  8. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 40 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

  9. Let the lasagna cool for a few minutes before serving.
