
How To Make Meatballs in Marinara Sauce

- ¼cupdry breadcrumbs
- ¼cupmilk
- 1½lbsground beef,mixed
- ½smallonion
- 2clovesgarlic
- 1tbspparsley,chopped
- 1tsporegano,minced
- 1egg
- 1tbspsalt
- ¼tspfreshly ground pepper
- 2tbspextra-virgin olive oil
- 3½cupsmarinara sauce
- spaghetti,cooked

In a small bowl, soak the breadcrumbs in the milk. In a large bowl, mix the ground meat with the soaked breadcrumbs, the onion, garlic, parsley, oregano, egg, salt, and pepper.

Form the meat mixture into 4 large balls. In a deep nonstick skillet, heat olive oil. Add the meatballs and cook for about 7 minutes over moderately high heat, turning occasionally, until browned all over.

Add the marinara sauce to the skillet; cover and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked through.
