
How To Make Lemon-Parmesan Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp
You can never go wrong with parmesan and fresh herbs combined with shrimp in this angel hair pasta recipe bursting with lots of tangy and sea salt flavors.

Ingredients
- 1¼lbsshrimp,peeled and deveined
- 12ozdry angel hair pasta
- 3tbspolive oil
- 3tbspunsalted butter
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 3garlic cloves,minced
- 1½tsplemon zest
- 3tbspfresh lemon juice
- 3tbspfresh basil,chopped
- 3tbspfresh parsley,chopped
- ½cupparmesan,finely shredded
Instructions

Cook pasta in salted water according to directions listed on the package, keeping in mind it will only take about 4 minutes so it is recommended to add the pasta to water when beginning to cook the shrimp; reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.

In a large skillet, heat olive and butter over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper then sauté for about 2 minutes. Add in garlic and sauté for about 2 minutes until shrimp has cooked through.

Toss drained pasta with shrimp along with ⅓ cup of reserved pasta water, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Add more water, 1 tablespoon at a time as needed.

Toss in 2 tablespoons of each parsley and basil, then sprinkle the top with parmesan cheese and the remaining parsley and basil. Serve warm.
