How To Make Garlic Shrimp Pasta

This creamy Garlic Shrimp Pasta Recipe is the perfect seafood meal for a fast lunch or dinner meal. Toss in yummy shrimp with spaghetti in this recipe!

Ingredients

  • 8ozspaghetti
  • ¾lbshrimp,medium, peeled, and deveined
  • 1tspOld Bay Seasoning
  • ½tspred pepper flakes
  • salt,to taste
  • pepper,to taste
  • 2tbspolive oil
  • 4garlic,cloves, finely chopped
  • cupwhite wine
  • 2tbsplemon juice,fresh
  • ¼cupbutter
  • ½cupheavy cream
  • ½cupchicken broth
  • ¼cupparsley

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti in salted water according to package directions.

  2. Season shrimp with Old Bay Seasoning, red pepper flakes, and salt and pepper to taste.

  3. Heat the oil in a large skillet. Add the shrimp and garlic and cook for 2 minutes, turn over, then cook for 1 minute more. Remove shrimp and set aside.

  4. Add wine and lemon juice to deglaze pan. Add butter, cream, and chicken broth. Simmer for 5 minutes, or until slightly reduced.

  5. Drain spaghetti, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.

  6. Return the shrimp to the skillet and cook until heated through. Stir in pasta and parsley and cook until heated through, adding pasta water if needed.

  7. Serve and enjoy!
