How To Make Cheese’s Baked Macaroni and Cheese Recipe

- 8 oz macaroni noodles
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Boil water and cook macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.

In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Slowly pour in the milk while whisking continuously until the mixture thickens and comes to a simmer.

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the shredded cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper.

Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and mix well to combine.

Transfer the macaroni and cheese mixture to a greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbling.
