How To Make Baked Spaghetti Squash
Introducing the not-so-typical baked spaghetti squash recipe that perfectly resembles your favorite pasta. A low carb recipe perfect for weight watchers.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Cut spaghetti squash in half lengthwise. Scoop out seeds and stringy bits and discard.
Drizzle the cut side with oil or spread with butter. Season with salt and pepper.
Place cut side down and bake for 40 minutes or just until tender.
Cool for 5 minutes. Flip spaghetti squash over and gently run a fork down the squash to separate into strands.
Season with additional butter, salt and pepper if desired.
After scooping out the seeds, to reduce waste, instead of discarding them, you can actually save them for roasting.
