How To Make Whole Wheat Pancake Mix

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and melted butter.

  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; lumps are okay.

  4. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.

  5. Grease the skillet lightly with butter or cooking spray.

  6. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.

  7. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

  8. Repeat with the remaining batter.

  9. Serve the pancakes warm with maple syrup or your favorite toppings.
