  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup of shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup of chopped chives

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease 4 individual tart pans or a muffin tin.

  2. In a bowl, combine the cooked bacon and shredded Swiss cheese. Divide the mixture evenly among the tart pans.

  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Pour the mixture over the bacon and cheese in the tart pans.

  4. Sprinkle the chopped chives on top.

  5. Place the tart pans on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until the quiches are set and lightly golden.

  6. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
