Preparation: 20 minutes
Cooking: 1 hour
Total: 1 hour 20 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sprouted wheat
  • 1/2 cup sprouted barley
  • 1/2 cup sprouted millet
  • 1/4 cup sprouted lentils
  • 1/4 cup sprouted spelt
  • 1/4 cup sprouted soybeans
  • 2 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup warm water

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sprouted wheat, barley, millet, lentils, spelt, and soybeans.

  2. In a separate small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes.

  3. Add the yeast mixture, sea salt, honey, and olive oil to the sprouted grain mixture.

  4. Mix well until a dough forms, then knead for about 5 minutes until the dough becomes smooth and elastic.

  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

  6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  7. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place the loaf in a greased bread pan.

  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
