How To Make Fluffy Flapjack Pancakes

No breakfast is complete without hot stacks of delicious pancakes! You may not be a morning person now, but with our yummy pancake recipes you certainly will be! There’re easy recipes for all kinds of different pancakes. We have thick and thin pancakes and ones with fruits like blueberries and banana. Don’t forget fluffy, Japanese-inspired pancakes!   • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 3/4 cups buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter


  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  2. In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter.

  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. The batter will be lumpy.

  4. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.

  5. Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes, until golden brown.

  6. Remove from the skillet and keep warm. Repeat with the remaining batter.

  7. Serve the pancakes warm with your favorite toppings such as maple syrup, fresh fruit, or whipped cream.
