How To Make Whole Grain Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup oats
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the whole wheat flour, oats, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, Greek yogurt, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter.

  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

  4. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with cooking spray or butter.

  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.

  6. Serve the pancakes hot with your favorite toppings such as maple syrup, fresh fruit, or yogurt.
