  • ¾cupmilk
  • 2tbspbutter,melted
  • 1large egg
  • 1tbspsugar
  • 1cupflour
  • 2tspbaking powder
  • ¼tspsalt


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  Lightly grease a 8×8-inch baking dish.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together milk, butter, and egg.  Add sugar, then gradually beat in the flour.  Carefully stir in the baking powder and salt.

  3. Pour batter into prepared pan.  Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
