Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking: 20 minutes
Total: 30 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting
  • Your choice of filling (such as Nutella, jam, fresh fruit, or cheese)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, eggs, sugar, and salt until smooth.

  2. Heat a non-stick griddle or skillet over medium heat and brush with some of the melted butter.

  3. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the griddle and spread it into a thin circle. Cook for about 2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

  4. Transfer the cooked palacinky to a plate and keep warm. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, brushing the griddle with butter before each pancake.

  5. Serve the palacinky warm, folded or rolled up, with your desired filling. Sprinkle with powdered sugar on top.
