How To Make Blueberry Dutch Baby

No breakfast is complete without hot stacks of delicious pancakes! You may not be a morning person now, but with our yummy pancake recipes you certainly will be! There’re easy recipes for all kinds of different pancakes. We have thick and thin pancakes and ones with fruits like blueberries and banana. Don’t forget fluffy, Japanese-inspired pancakes!   • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting
  • Maple syrup, for serving


  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. In a blender, combine the flour, milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth.

  3. Place the butter in a 10-inch cast iron skillet and place it in the preheated oven until the butter melts.

  4. Carefully remove the skillet from the oven and swirl the melted butter to coat the bottom.

  5. Pour the pancake batter into the skillet and sprinkle the blueberries evenly over the top.

  6. Return the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dutch baby is puffed up and golden brown.

  7. Remove from the oven and dust with powdered sugar.

  8. Serve immediately with maple syrup.
