How To Make Smashed Potatoes
Whip up these smashed potatoes for a different side dish! They’re tender potatoes smashed flat to crispy pieces, and topped with a garlic and herb butter.

Ingredients
- 1lbbaby potatoes,like red potatoes or Yukon Gold
- 4tbspbutter,melted
- 1½tspgarlic,minced
- ½tspItalian seasoning
- ¼cupparmesan cheese,finely grated
- salt and pepper,to taste
- 2tbspparsley,chopped
- cooking spray
Instructions

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the potatoes, then cook for 18 to 22 minutes or until tender.

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Coat a sheet pan with cooking spray.

Drain the potatoes, then place them in a single layer on the pan.

Use the bottom of a glass or a potato masher to carefully flatten each potato.

Place the butter, garlic, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper to taste in a bowl. Stir to combine.

Drizzle the butter mixture over each potato, then sprinkle parmesan cheese over top.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy.

Sprinkle with parsley, then serve and enjoy!
