How To Make Baked Egg in Hash Brown Cups

Crispy hash brown cups filled with fluffy baked eggs make for a delicious and easy breakfast!

Cooking: 30 minutes
Total: 40 minutes



  • 4 cups shredded hash browns, thawed
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 eggs


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. In a bowl, mix together hash browns, melted butter, salt, and pepper.

  3. Divide hash brown mixture into 4 muffin cups, pressing down and up the sides to form cups.

  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

  5. Remove from oven and crack an egg into each hash brown cup.

  6. Bake for another 10-15 minutes or until egg whites are set.

  7. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before removing from muffin cups.

  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
