Ingredients

  • 4 cod fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Place each cod fillet on a piece of foil.

  3. Drizzle each fillet with olive oil and squeeze some lemon juice over the top.

  4. Sprinkle minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and pepper evenly over each fillet.

  5. Place a few lemon slices on top of each fillet.

  6. Fold the foil over each fillet, sealing it tightly.

  7. Place the foil packets on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

  8. Carefully open the foil packets and transfer the fillets to serving plates.

  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
