  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.

  4. Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until burgers are cooked to your desired level of doneness.

  6. Toast the hamburger buns in a toaster or grill them.

  7. Place the cooked patties on the buns and add your choice of toppings.
