  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1/2 cup diced carrots
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tube refrigerated biscuits

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large skillet, sauté the onion, celery, carrots, and garlic until tender.

  3. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.

  4. Slowly whisk in the chicken broth, followed by the heavy cream.

  5. Add the thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper, and bring to a boil. Cook until thickened.

  6. Stir in the chicken and frozen vegetables, and simmer for a few minutes.

  7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.

  8. Arrange the refrigerated biscuits on top of the filling.

  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

  10. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
