How To Make Lemon and Garlic Chicken Drumsticks
These chicken drumsticks are seasoned with tangy lemon, tasty garlic, and thyme for a richer meal! Whip this up for dinner with just a few ingredients.

- 1.5lbschicken drumsticks,(6 drumsticks), rinsed
- 3tbspolive oil
- 1tbsplemon zest
- 2tbsplemon juice
- 4garlic cloves,(about 2 tsp), minced
- 1tspdried thyme
- coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper,to taste
Instructions

Place the chicken, olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic, and thyme in a large bowl or Ziploc bag, then mix well to coat the chicken.

Cover, then refrigerate to marinate for 1 to 12 hours.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Remove the drumsticks from the marinade, then place them in a greased baking dish. Season with salt and pepper.

Bake for 45 to 55 minutes, or until the juices run clear.

For extra flavor, brush the drumsticks with more of the marinade 20 minutes into baking.
