How To Make Lamb Ribs

Lamb ribs are baked and cooked in a sweet and savory sticky sauce in this delectable recipe. There's not much prep work to be done for this dinner dish.

Prep: 10 mins
Cook: 1 hr
Total: 1 hr 10 mins
Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 lb lamb ribs

For Sticky Glaze:

  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce, or tamari sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves , crushed
  • 2 tbsp gochujang , any chilli paste can be substituted
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees F and line a large baking sheet with baking/parchment paper.

  2. Combine all the glaze ingredients and mix well. Taste for seasoning and adjust. The glaze should be sweet and spicy but be balanced with salt (from the soy) and acid (from the vinegar).

  3. Place the ribs on the prepared baking sheet and spoon over half of the glaze.
  4. Place the ribs in the oven and allow to bake for 20 to 25 minutes then brush with the remaining glaze every 10 minutes. After 40 minutes, increase the temperature to 430 degrees F and allow the ribs to caramelize.

  5. Remove from the oven when the ribs are sticky and caramelized and serve.
