How To Make Easy Brisket

  • 3 lb brisket, about 3-4 lb
  • 1 bottle chili sauce
  • 1 can Coca Cola, or Dr. Pepper, non-diet
  • 1 pkg onion soup mix


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place the brisket in an oven baking bag.

  2. Mix remaining ingredients together in a bowl. Pour evenly over brisket.

  3. Tie the end of the bag and punch a couple of holes for steam to escape.

  4. Bake for approximately 3 hours, checking from time to time to make sure brisket is tender.

  5. Remove brisket from the bag and place it on a platter. Let cool and slice against the grain to serve.
