How To Make Catfish Pecan
Catfish pecan is a yummy baked dish made with cornmeal-crusted catfish fillets seasoned with salt and pepper and sprinkled with crisp pecans.

Ingredients
- ½cupcornmeal
- 1tspsalt
- ¼tspground black pepper
- 1¼lbscatfish
- 3tbspvegetable oil
- ½cuppecans,finely crushed
- 5lemon wedges,for garnish
- 5sprigsfresh parsley,for garnish
Instructions

Preheat oven to 500 degrees F.

In a large bowl, mix the cornmeal, salt and pepper. Dip the catfish in the cornmeal mixture; coating well.

Place catfish on a flat, greased baking sheet. Pour the oil over the fish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until catfish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Sprinkle with pecans toward the end of the cooking period.

Garnish with lemon wedges and parsley sprigs.
