How To Make Buttery Baked Chicken

The combination of butter, milk, and cream of chicken soup give this baked chicken recipe a nice tenderness and delicateness of flavor that’s hard to top.

Preparation: 5 minutes
Cooking: 1 hour 30 minutes
Total: 1 hour 35 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4chicken breasts,boneless skinless
  • 1canevaporated milk
  • ½cupflour
  • tspsalt
  • tsppepper
  • ½cupbutter
  • 1cancream of chicken soup
  • ¼cupwater

Instructions

  1. Dip each chicken piece in a bowl filled with about ⅛ of the evaporated milk. Coat well and then roll it in the flour seasoned with salt and pepper.

  2. Melt butter in 9×13-inch pan and cook the chicken in the melted butter for 1 hour at 350 degrees F.

  3. Mix together water, can of soup, and the rest of the evaporated milk.

  4. After chicken has been baking for 1 hour, turn chicken and pour soup mixture on top.

  5. Bake for 30 more minutes until golden brown. Serve as is.
