
How To Make BBQ Baked Beans
Brimming with warm and smoky flavors, this BBQ baked beans dish combines canned beans and bacon for a fiber-rich bite that’s best for brunch or even dinner.

Ingredients
- 2slicesbacon,diced, plus 2 slices more for optional topping
- 1sweet onion,small, diced
- 1bell pepper,diced
- 2clovesgarlic,minced
- 1tbspsmoked paprika
- ½tspchipotle chili powder
- ¼tspsalt
- ¼tspblack pepper,freshly cracked
- 2tbspapple cider vinegar
- 2tbspBBQ sauce
- 2tbspketchup
- 1tbspdijon mustard
- 1tbspbrown sugar
- 22ozbaked beans,(2 cans)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Heat a large skillet over medium-low heat and add the diced bacon. Cook until it’s brown and crisp and most of the fat is rendered.

Stit in the onion, pepper, and garlic. Cook, stirring often, for about 5 minutes until everything softens. Stir in paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes.

Stir in the vinegar, BBQ sauce, ketchup, mustard, and brown sugar until combined.

Stir in the baked beans directly from the can. Bring the mixture to a boil, then turn off the heat. Lay the remaining strips of bacon on top of the beans.

Place the skillet in the oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until bubbly and syrup. Remove and let cool slightly before serving.
