How To Make Baked Spaghetti Casserole

The ideal dish for potluck, this baked spaghetti casserole is simply oozing with rich tomato meat sauce topped with a golden cheese crust.

  • 16ozspaghetti,cooked
  • ¼cupfresh parsley
  • cupsmozzarella cheese,shredded
  • cupfresh parmesan cheese,shredded

For Sauce:

  • 1lbground beef,or italian sausage
  • 1small onion,diced
  • 2clovesgarlic
  • tspItalian seasoning
  • ½tspsalt,or to taste
  • 1green pepper,diced
  • 32ozpasta sauce
  • 14½oztomatoes,diced


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  2. Brown meat, onion, garlic, seasoning, and green pepper over medium heat making sure to break up the meat very well.

  3. Add pasta sauce, Italian seasoning, and tomatoes to meat. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes uncovered. Stir in spaghetti and parsley.

  4. Spread into a 9×13-inch pan, top with cheeses, and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until hot and cheese is browned and bubbly.

  5. Cut into squares to serve.
