How To Make Baked Chicken With Mushrooms
This baked chicken with mushrooms recipe makes bread crumbs coated chicken topped with mushrooms and cheese that provides earthy and creamy flavors.

- 3cupsmushrooms,sliced
- 4chicken breast,skinless, boneless, halves
- 2eggs,beaten
- 1cupseasoned bread crumbs
- 2tbspbutter
- 6ozmozzarella cheese,sliced
- ¾cupchicken broth
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Place half of the mushrooms in a 9×13-inch pan. Dip chicken into beaten eggs, then roll in the bread crumbs.

In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Brown both sides of chicken in skillet.

Place chicken on top of mushrooms, arrange remaining mushrooms on chicken, and top with mozzarella cheese. Add chicken broth to the pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear.
