  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup sauerkraut, drained
  • 1/2 cup Russian dressing
  • 1/4 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.

  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

  3. In a small bowl, combine the Russian dressing, Thousand Island dressing, mayonnaise, and caraway seeds.

  4. Place the chicken breasts in the greased baking dish and top each one with 2 slices of Swiss cheese.

  5. Spread a layer of sauerkraut over the cheese on each chicken breast.

  6. Spoon the dressing mixture over the sauerkraut, evenly dividing it between the chicken breasts.

  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

  8. Serve hot with your favorite side dishes.
