  • 4lbchicken wings
  • 3tbspcooking oil
  • 4garlic cloves
  • tspsalt
  • tspcayenne
  • 1cupmayonnaise
  • 1cupsour cream
  • ¼lbblue cheese
  • 2scallions,green tops included
  • 5tspvinegar
  • ¼tspfresh ground black pepper
  • ¼cupketchup
  • 1tbsptabasco sauce
  • 8celery ribs


  1. Heat the oven to 425 degrees F.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the wings, oil, garlic, 1½ teaspoons of salt, and cayenne.

  3. Arrange the wings in a single layer on two large baking sheets.

  4. Bake for about 25 minutes until just done.

  5. In a medium glass or stainless-steel bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, blue cheese, scallions, 1 teaspoon of vinegar, remaining ¼ teaspoon of salt, and black pepper

  6. In a large bowl, combine the ketchup, the remaining 4 teaspoons of vinegar, and Tabasco sauce. Add the wings and toss to coat.

  7. Serve the wings with the celery sticks and blue-cheese dressing alongside, and enjoy!
