How To Make Asparagus Salmon Foil Packets

You can never go wrong with this tasty and buttery asparagus salmon foil packets recipe, which you can make and bake in just a total of 30 minutes!

Preparation: 5 minutes
Cooking: 20 minutes
Total: 25 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4salmon,filleted
  • 1lemon,sliced
  • 1tsppaprika
  • 1tspgarlic powder
  • 1tspsalt
  • 1tspblack pepper
  • 1lbasparagus spears,ends trimmed
  • ½cupbutter,melted
  • 1lemon,juiced
  • 1tbspgarlic,minced
  • 2tspbasil,fresh

For Garnish:

  • basil,fresh
  • lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Cut a 12×18-inch heavy-duty foil into 4 sheets

  3. Place 2 lemon slices on each sheet of foil.

  4. Mix paprika, garlic powder, and salt and pepper together, then rub it over the salmon.

  5. Place each salmon fillet in the center of the lemon slices.

  6. Divide the asparagus into 4 equal portions and arrange next to the salmon on each sheet of foil.

  7. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, lemon juice, garlic, and basil.

  8. Pour the butter mixture evenly over each piece of salmon and asparagus.

  9. Wrap the salmon and asparagus in foil, then secure and seal the edges to create a packet.

  10. Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes

  11. Open the foil packets and enjoy. Optionally, broil for another 1 to 2 minutes to crisp up exterior.

  12. Garnish with additional lemon juice and fresh basil.
