Cinnamon, brown sugar and sherry give these pork chops an extra-sweet flavor. For sure, you’ve never had pork chops as good as the one in this apple baked pork chop recipe.

How To Make Apple-Baked Pork Chops with Sherry

  • 6 boneless pork chops
  • 3 large apples (peeled, cored and sliced)
  • ¼ cup brown sugar (packed )
  • ½ tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper
  • ½ cup dry sherry
  1. In a large skillet, brown chops, about 2 minutes each side; reserve.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  3. Arrange apple slices in the bottom of a 9×13 inch-baking dish.

  4. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Dot with butter or margarine.
  6. Top with browned pork chops and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Pour sherry over all, cover and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until tender and internal temperature of pork has reached 160 degrees F.
