Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup Mexican blend cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.

  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the ground beef. Cook until the onion is soft and translucent.

  3. Stir in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, and salt. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, until fragrant.

  4. Reduce the heat to low and add the shredded cheese and salsa to the skillet. Stir until the cheese is melted and the mixture is well combined.

  5. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped cilantro.

  6. Serve the dip warm with tortilla chips.
