How To Make Country Style Fried Potatoes

Fries don’t always have to be the regular, straight-cut potatoes. Not only are they the best go-to snack for many, but they also they pair excellently with other meals as a fun add-on. Have some not-so-ordinary fries with these best fries recipes.

Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.

  2. Add the onions and garlic to the skillet and sauté until they become translucent and fragrant.

  3. Add the sliced potatoes to the skillet and spread them out in an even layer.

  4. Sprinkle paprika, salt, and pepper over the potatoes.

  5. Cook the potatoes, flipping occasionally, until they are golden brown and crispy.

  6. Remove the potatoes from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
