How To Make Copycat Burger and Fries

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 4 slices of tomato
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 pickles
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 4 large potatoes, cut into fries
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper


  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop griddle.

  2. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.

  4. Meanwhile, heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).

  5. In a bowl, mix together paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss the cut potatoes in the spice mixture until coated evenly.

  6. Fry the potatoes in batches for about 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels.

  7. Toast the burger buns on the grill or stovetop.

  8. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with a slice of cheese, tomato, lettuce, onion, and a pickle. Add condiments of your choice.

  9. Serve the burgers with the homemade fries on the side.
