Ingredients

  • 8 jalapeño peppers
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium heat.

  2. Slice jalapeño peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  4. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.

  5. Wrap each jalapeño half with a slice of bacon and secure with toothpicks.

  6. Place the wrapped jalapeños on the preheated grill and cook for about 5 minutes per side, or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is melted.

  7. Remove from the grill and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
