How To Make Garlic & Prosciutto Plait

Ingredients
- 2 sheets of puff pastry
- 6 cloves of garlic, minced
- 8 slices of prosciutto
- 1 egg, beaten
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface.

Sprinkle minced garlic evenly over one of the pastry sheets.

Lay prosciutto slices on top of the garlic, overlapping slightly.

Place the other puff pastry sheet on top and press down lightly.

Cut the pastry stack into strips, about 1 inch wide.

Twist each strip gently and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the twisted pastries with beaten egg for a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly.

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
