Ingredients

  • 1 cup of flax seeds
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp of onion powder
  • Optional toppings: sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or sea salt flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a bowl, combine the flax seeds and water. Let them soak for 10 minutes until a gel-like consistency forms.

  3. Stir in the salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  4. Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Use a silicone spatula or the back of a spoon to smooth it out.

  5. Optional: Sprinkle sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or sea salt flakes on top for extra flavor.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes or until the edges start to turn golden brown.

  7. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before breaking into individual crackers.

  8. Serve and enjoy!
