  • 1 block of firm tofu
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • Vegetable oil for frying


  1. Drain the tofu and pat it dry with paper towels. Cut it into small cubes.

  2. In a medium bowl, mix the cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.

  3. Toss the tofu cubes in the cornstarch mixture until well coated.

  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or skillet over medium heat.

  5. Fry the tofu cubes in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.

  6. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the fried tofu to a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
