How To Make Crabby Cream Cheese Wontons

Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup crab meat, finely chopped
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 24 wonton wrappers
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Sweet chili sauce, for serving (optional)
Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Lay out a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Place about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture in the center of the wrapper.

Dip your finger in water and moisten the edges of the wrapper. Fold the wrapper diagonally to form a triangle, pressing the edges to seal.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or pot to about 350°F (175°C). Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Serve hot with sweet chili sauce, if desired.
