Total: 30 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 8 oz crab meat
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the crab meat, cream cheese, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper. Mix well.

  2. Place a spoonful of the crab mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water and fold in half to form a triangle. Press the edges to seal.

  3. In a deep skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Fry the crab rangoons in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  4. Serve the crab rangoons hot, with soy sauce or sweet and sour sauce for dipping.
