How To Make Bacon-wrapped Chicken Drumsticks

  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil


  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Rinse the chicken drumsticks and pat them dry with paper towels.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  4. Rub the chicken drumsticks with the spice mixture.

  5. Wrap each drumstick with a slice of bacon, starting from the top and spiraling down.

  6. Secure the bacon with toothpicks if needed.

  7. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  8. Add the bacon-wrapped drumsticks to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until the bacon is browned.

  9. Transfer the drumsticks to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the bacon is crispy.

  10. Remove the toothpicks before serving.
