How To Make Baked Chicken Burger

Everybody loves fried chicken! There’s nothing like the crispy crackly exterior of each piece, coupled with the juicy meat inside. By itself, it’s already incredibly satisfying. What more if sandwiched in between two buns with a handful of other ingredients? You can even shred them up to stir into a saucy filling of some sort. Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, onion, garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  3. Shape the mixture into four patties and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. Bake the chicken burgers in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.

  5. Toast the burger buns in a toaster or under the broiler.

  6. Assemble the burgers by placing a chicken patty on each bun and adding your favorite toppings.

  7. Serve the baked chicken burgers hot and enjoy!
