How To Make Rice Cooker Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 cup of rice
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: green onions, sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken thighs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and dried thyme.

  2. Place the rice in the rice cooker and pour in the chicken broth.

  3. Arrange the seasoned chicken thighs on top of the rice.

  4. Drizzle soy sauce over the chicken thighs.

  5. Close the rice cooker and set it to cook.

  6. Once the rice cooker switches to “warm” mode, let it sit for 5 minutes before opening.

  7. Carefully remove the chicken thighs and fluff the rice with a fork.

  8. Serve the chicken thighs over the fluffy rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
