Ingredients

  • 1 pound of asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Place the trimmed asparagus on a baking sheet.

  3. Drizzle the olive oil over the asparagus and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

  4. Roast the asparagus in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until tender and slightly charred.

  5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

  6. Return the asparagus back to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and slightly golden.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
